This April, our co-founder and publisher, Robert Scheer, turns 90 years old. Something to celebrate! For nearly seven decades, Bob has not relented in his goal to deliver the truth while maintaining the utmost standards of journalistic integrity. Now for his 90th birthday, Bob is asking for something very meaningful to him: your support to ensure ScheerPost not only survives but thrives. It has been almost six years since award-winning veteran journalists Robert Scheer and Narda Zacchino put their passion, wisdom and experience gained over more than 70 combined years at the Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Ramparts magazine and more into launching ScheerPost. They work pro bono so all funds go to pay our staff and other ScheerPost expenses. Our site has become a top independent news source on the most important issues of the day, with its content having been viewed more than 20 million times by people from around the world.
